The purpose of Colorado Mosaic Artists is the promotion of mosaic as a fine art and the artistic and technical education of its members and the general public. CMA welcomes and supports all members including professional mosaic artists, dedicated amateurs and mosaic suppliers. Colorado Mosaic Artists is organized exclusively for educational and artistic purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
For ease of travel for all members, meetings have been held up and down the Colorado Front Range, with a summer meeting on the Western Slope. Gatherings include a short Business Meeting followed by topical discussions, demonstrations, artistic critiques and mosaic Swap & Shop where members sell or trade tesserae and other items.
Gatherings are usually the second Sunday of each month. We have 3 annual official meetings in January, June and November. The other months we have a quick recap with important news, planned activities, ranging from demonstrations, presentations, critiques or other topical discussions. Schedule may change so please check back frequently or contact us by email if interested in meetings: firstname.lastname@example.org. We always bring new work to show and share.
Our next meeting?
Sunday June 11, 2017, We will be in Littleton Colorado for one of three business meetings we hold per year.
