April’s Colorado Mosaic Artists Meeting is a Smalti Workshop!!   We will have a Smalti Workshop on Sunday, April 10.  Thank you, Susan Judy, for offering up your house for this workshop.  Please see address and directions below.  It’s such a beautiful location for creating!

There will be a brief demo on Smalti and then you’ll be cut loose to create!  All those who use Smalti are welcome to share any tips and tricks.

For this workshop, CMA will be providing:
• Substrate (6”x8” or 8”x8”),
• An assortment of Smalti, stone, millifiori, and
• An opportunity for hands on experience with a hammer and hardie

You will need to bring:
• $20 materials fee
• Wheeled nippers and your favorite tools
• Weld Bond
• Accent tesserae (jewelry, mirrors, crystals, etc.)
• A design idea

Thus far, we have 20 people from the March meeting who signed up for the workshop. Please review the list below and confirm your attendance. For those who didn’t make it to the March meeting and would like to join us on the 10th for the workshop, please respond to the email as soon as possible so that we can obtain adequate materials.

A big thank you to Peace, Love and Smalti for discounting the bulk of our Smalti, and also to DiMosaico for donating a supply of Smalti, stone, millifiori and other tesserae. Please give them a shout out with a thank you!

If you have any questions, please let us know.

See you on the 10th!

Carol
