Past Events: "Mosaics: Cutting Edges" Nov. 4 - Dec. 17 at EventGallery 910Arts

Meticulous consideration was taken to curate an exhibit representing a wide variety of contemporary mosaics with some of the best Colorado mosaic artists have to offer. The breadth of the medium, creativity and caliber of execution of the 57 pieces that were included in the exhibit was truly remarkable.

The exhibit closed on Dec. 17, and included mosaics by 22 Colorado exhibiting artists: Laurie Adams, Hresula Bentsen, Grace Blowers, Barbara Cohen, Ilona Fried, Deborah Griffith, Lynnette Kupferer, Sara Mayo, Danni McCarville, Krystie Rose Millich, Patricia Monroe, Sherry Moon, Misha Moore, Ann Raabe, Mirelle Rhodes, Rita Schelin, Joan Schubert, Peggy Shaw, Marlea Taylor, Kathy Thaden, Susan Wechsler, Karen Yust

Breckenridge Workshop & Retreat - August 26-28, 2011

Colorado Mosaic Artists ended summer with a weekend mosaic workshop and retreat in Breckenridge, Colorado. Here's a bit of what happened in Breckenridge to build elements for the Project Angel Heart mosaic mural. The mural will be mounted in February, 2012, and consists of 16 individual 18" x 18" mosaic squares by CMA artists.

Bonnie Brae Alley Art Tour - May 22, 2011

Colorado Mosaic Artists celebrated spring with an afternoon tour of Denver's Bonnie Brae neighborhood mosaics!

We had a great time touring the Bonnie Brae neighborhood and seeing the 'alley art' mosaics, sharing insights with some of the local artists. See the video of the tour by clicking here!
